Ethnographic Museum
The house where it is located used to be the temple of the major “santero” (priest of a religious cult of African origin) of Madruga, a small town about 50 km (30 mi) from the capital. The visitor will be able to figure out how these traditions deeply rooted among the devotes of the Cuban Patroness, the Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre. Reality and imagination take possession of the visitors from the very moment they walk inside this highly folkloric house.
Museum of Humor
It is housed by a mansion that has withstood the pass of more than two centuries. This museum is devoted to conservation, research, and promotion of all matters related to humor in Cuba. Its rooms and its patio are spaces they have taken advantage on to house exhibitions with numerous topics of general interest since 1979.
